JoelandKathy
Great video. I can relate to the video as i had incest in my background as well and i was constantly blamed for problems because of my past. i was so fustrated with my husband. Last year I divorced him and began my life as a single mom. We had been married for 13.11 years! i couldn't wait for that divorce to be final! This Feb 09 we are back together. We could never find any other relationships. We both have grown tremendously being apart. we are both different BUT BETTER! It was like it never happened. We do not argue about what church we attend. I went from a baptist church to a Messianic Congregation. My husband attends with me. We do not argue about money. We do not argue about anything. We may disagree but we quickly resolve. What seemed to be so out of wack God has fixed it. I don't recommend anyone doing what I did but it did work. I did not do it to get him back. I was extremely angry and felt there was no other option. I did some serious praying. The pastorial couseling that i got was inadequate. I was looking for a new husband last year. God kept me in a holding pattern and neither one of us hooked up with anyone else! My husband kept repeating 1 Cor 7. I however could not hear him, I was too angry. I didn't make since until this February when i told him that i forgive him for everything. Everything I asked for in a mate, God has done in my husband. That's incredible! My kids are happy to have daddy back home and I am too. Single life sucks! Raising kids alone sucks! Meeting new people is not good either-who can you trust. Next month we are having a beach wedding with our two kids AAron age 3 and Alex age 11. 14 years ago we got married at a courthouse. so i guess you can say we are truly starting over. thanks for your emails, you never know who you will touch out there!
