JoelandKathy
Posted: Sun Jul 26, 2009 4:01 pm Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just popping in to say that Tamara and I are experiencing intimacy in our marriage that I could have never imagined. We are learning to live at what we call a "heart level." She has been willing to trust me to be safe and has been allowing me further into the center of her heart as I earn her trust. God has truly blessed us in this process and it is amazing the strength and courage that Tamara has displayed in all of this. I have been able to earn her trust at each new level of intimacy and it is so incredible, the reward so outweighs the risks. It's like we've finally awakened after almost twenty years of marriage. It's not a mountain top experience, in fact, it can be painful at times but so rewarding as we establish new levels of trust and intimacy. I posted the awesome Wedding entrance video from youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-94JhLEiN) on my facebook with the comment that I want to be able to live that type of joyous life with Tamara and am glad that we can finally do that. She was halfway across the country and her quick reply was, "Let's make the next 20 like this. Now we are on the same journey. Love you!" That was the most awesome statement ever and it is truly where we are now. We serve a mighty God! Love, Paul_________________April '08 Intensive Alumni Read both books and learning to die daily.
